Students who earn this certificate will demonstrate their knowledge of how human resources fits within an organization’s strategy. Students will identify human resources aspects such as recruiting, staffing, creating high performance work systems, performance management, compensation planning, and gain knowledge in the legalities of employment practices. Interested students will find support for preparing for industry certification with HR Certification Institute (HRCI) or society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
At least 25 percent of the coursework applied to this embedded certificate must be satisfactorily completed at NSU.
